SyntX operates on a credits-based system that allows you to use our AI-powered services. Credits are our internal currency that is spent when you make API requests to our platform.

How Credits Work

Credit Value

• Each credit on SyntX has a real-world monetary value
• Credits are deducted automatically when you make API requests
• Different models and functions have different credit costs

Credit Consumption

Credits are consumed based on several factors:

1. Model Type: Advanced models like Claude-3.7 Sonnet consume more credits than simpler models like Llama 3.3 70b.
2. Token Usage: Credits are calculated based on:
   • Input tokens (prompts you send)
   • Output tokens (responses generated)
3. Function Complexity: More complex operations may cost more credits

Credit Allocation

When you sign up for SyntX, you receive an initial allocation of credits. Additional credits can be purchased through your profile page.

Checking Your Credit Balance

You can monitor your credit usage in real-time on your profile page:

• Current balance
• Credits used
• Usage percentage
• Credit history

Credit History

Your credit history shows:

• Previous credit balances
• Credit adjustments (additions or deductions)
• Timestamps for all credit-related activities

Adding More Credits

When your credits run low, you can add more credits by clicking the "Add Credits" button on your profile page. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider.
